The Buying Process

1.The price for each item you have added to the shopping basket is carried forward to a list with a 'Total' section showing how much your order will cost you.
2.To buy goods from the basket, check each line is required and then confirm that you wish to order. We will ask for a payment method, delivery address and payment details. We reserve the right to ask for payment in advance of delivery.
3. By completing the details and confirming you offer to buy the goods subject to our Terms and Conditions
4. We can refuse to supply you with any goods ordered if you are a non-account holder with no registered method of payment or if items you have ordered are temporarily or permanently out of stock. 5.
If, when we get your order, we find the price quoted for goods ordered has changed we will then tell you the new price and ask if you wish to proceed. We will then confirm whether or not your order has been accepted.
6. You will receive an confirmatory email from us to acknowledge our systems have registered your order. If you receive no further emails from us within 72 hours then no price or material changes to the contract will take place and we have a BINDING CONTRACT.
7.We can make adjustments in the price after a binding contract has been made between us only as set out in the Terms and Conditions. If we change the price you can either accept the change or end the contract by written notice to us.
8. Also, you and we have the right to end any contract between us (without penalty) within 7 days from the date we accept your order. On any such termination we must refund all sums paid by you to us and you must return any goods that we have dispatched to you

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these. We advise you to print and keep safe a copy of these Terms and Conditions

Purchasing from Us Shipment outside the United Kingdom may cost additional postage than stated in our standard pricing, though where possible we will state the cost of standard parcel delivery of your item. By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent but registration will be deemed consent unless you have indicated that you do not wish to hear of offers from us. You may at any time ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address above. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact QED immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. If you order software from us you will also be bound by the terms of the software licence supplied with the software. Prices are checked regularly however if we find the price has changed when we receive your order we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed. Appearance on our website does not guarantee that at the time of order we have stock of any item, though we will make all reasonable efforts to remove any items that are not in stock. Should an item not be in stock, we will contact you within 72 hours to notify of you of the options available to you. Should the item out of stock then come back into stock at a different price (higher or lower), we will notify you when we can supply and ask whether you wish to proceed.

Delivery & Damages

We aim to despatch goods to you within 48 hours but we cannot give an exact delivery date. We also may deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this. If we have not delivered the goods within 30 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract. We will refund any money paid by you. We will supply goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months (or longer if required by law) from the date of delivery. You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must tell us as soon as possible and we will arrange for their return to us or the manufacturer at no cost to you. If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will at our option repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid by you. You have the right to cancel this contract for no reason at all and without penalty. Please note your right to cancel does not apply to Software, Video or Audio recordings that have been opened

Institutional or Business Customers

If you are a school, college, business or other institution, or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we shall not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect) business data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be limited to the price paid for the goods. We do not exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury. For our performance time is not of the essence.

Other Information for Consumers

A copy of these Terms and Conditions and your order may not be kept by us and so we advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future. Any contract between us and you shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Credit Card Security Credit

card security requires that we uses an encrypted system that protects your credit card details. Please do NOT submit your card details to us by email or on the website until we state that the site is secure. To pay by credit card, please print out your order and then fax or post to us with your credit card number, date of expiry, registered address and (Switch only) any issue number.
